My Old Memory

Last Thursday, my friends and I hang out. We planned to spend time together all day long.

We gathered at Lintang’s Home at 9.30 am. But just like another Indonesian, late. When I was got there, how I missed her, I hugged her though she had not taken a bath yet. She asked me to come in and she told me her awful experience in Bereu, East Kalimantan. Her trusted person betrayed her. I saw her toughness in her eyes, and if I were her, I’d jump to the see. As I can hold it, I don’t have any toughness just like Lintang.

In quite moments, she asked for permission to take a bath.

When she was in bathroom Djomet came. She’s another friend. With no expectation we wore same color blouse, yellow.

A few minutes later, Lintang came out to welcome Djomet. Then Anggita followed. So do Brinna, Sita, & Okky. Unfortunately, Manda, Kiky & Tantri didn’t joint us since they had something that they couldn’t leave.

After the member had complete she started to share her story. Then Brinna shouted how he had the heart to do that.

Quite moment came again. Sita broke the ice cooled by asking where we would go first. Then we considered watching movie at E-Plaza. But before watched movie we’d like to have shisa ( …). The movie that we watched is Will Smith’s one, Hancock. What a pity we are, the theatre is opened at 12 am & at that time was 11 am and the movie would play at 12.45.

While we waited we ordered some drinks & food at E-Lounge. Sita & Okky ordered melon juice, Lintang & Djomet ordered strawberry juice, Anggita ordered guava juice, Brinna offered orange juice, & I ordered mineral water. For food Lintang ordered french fries, but it was little different. The potatoes slices were bigger than usual, I forgot what it called. But it usually find if we eat steak. Brinna ordered crispy chicken crust (kulit ayam goreng). We chatted about everything from reality life until gossip. Yeah, we are normal girls, could not separate from gossip ^-^.

After all order had come, we decided to order shisa, as used to when we tried it, Anggita didn’t join us. But it wasn’t our lucky day. The waiter knew that we would watch movie & it took 15 minutes to prepare a good shisa while the clock showed 12.30.

Then there was a call from front office that the movie would be started. The theatre is upstairs & in the middle of stairs we took some picture by Okky’s camera. We didn’t care what people think.

Hancock is fabulous super hero. Just like Superman, Hancock has one. While Superman weakness is green stone, Hancock is being close with his couple. It makes him mortal. So he should be far far away from her.
After we watched Hancock, we except Lintang went to the toilet to pee. It was so cold in theatre.

And next destination looked for food. There are food stalls behind Gramedia bookstore. While we ordered gado-gado, Brinna ordered soto.

After having a food we back to Lintang’s home. As you know, that Lintang’s home is about 200 meter from E-Plaza and 50 meter from Gramedia bookstore. So we went to those places on foot. At her house we thought what the next destination was. Karaoke was our next destination. Okky offered us to use her bonus karaoke in Family Fun, karaoke place. From Lintang’s home to Family Fun is quite far. As Sita who only one ride car, we should divide into two. Okky, Brinna, & I ride with Sita while Anggita & Djomet used Lintang car.

When we got Family Fun and had parked, Sita’s car could not lock on. Then we tried manually.

Family Fun is on upstairs of Jasseline’s Cake. After registration, there was a man showed us where we got karaoke. Then he prepared all the stuff like two mike and turn on the television & computer. Before he left he told us to press F1 after the picture of Family Fun came out.

Brinna & Okky selected some song in computer, from Nat King Cole who sang Love to The Changcuters who sang I Love You Bibeh.

In the middle of karoke, Lintang, Anggita & Brinna came out & brought happy birthday cake & there were 18 candles on the top. They sang Happy Birthday song. Then I asked to them who birthday was. Sita also asked this month one of us isn’t birthday but next month. She meant Okky. Sita’s birthday is last 22nd June & mine is 25th May. It was little bit late, but it was okay, late is better than never, right?

Okky shouted hey, look for Happy Birthday song. Then the song was played. Sita counted until three then we blew up the candles. We clapped.

That was one of my happiest days in my life. Then we continued karaoke. Everyone yelled a lot until our throat got hurt.

Suddenly Djomet asked for permission to go home first. As Djomet’s boyfriend, Hajar, had picked her up at park lot.

Then it’s time for me to follow Djomet. The clock showed 5.30 pm, I should go home. Shaking hand was not enough for me, so I hugged them one by one. Okky said how I got home, by public transportation of course, I answered. Anggita offered me to go home with her, but I refused it.

I had to cross the street to get small vehicle transportation for Sampangan direction. Then I stopped at Ngaglik & got bus to go home. Maybe it wasn’t my lucky day. The bus broke down in front of BRI Satrian whereas Jatiluhur is quite far. I decided to walk to Jatiluhur, it took 25 minutes.

That was my day, my complete day. There was fun, surprise, & disappointment because of the broke down bus.

I love my life so much.
