Small Talk

Small talk can be happened in a lobby, public transportation, hospital, and even in a conference. Small talk only last for 2 minutes maximum. If it is more than 2 minutes, it's kind a rude. In small talk you can talk about job, interest, hobbies, weather, places,
and studies. Those are the save to talk to. You definitely can't talk about age, marital status, and even salary. That's totally impolite.

Example:

On a bus

Elmy: "Excuse me, what time is it?"

Rio: "It's ten to nine."

Elmy: "Thank you."

Rio: "Don't mention it."

Elmy: "Well, you wear MU's Jacket. Are you fan of the club?"

Rio: "Sure, it is. MU is my fave club. But I think you are not."

Elmy: "Yeah, you can see from my jacket. I'm The Red fan."

Rio: "So, we are actually enemy to each other, right?"

Elmy: "Sure. Anyway, Did you watch the game last night? It was so exciting."

Rio: "Couldn't agree more. MU was full with attack and poor for Liverpool. They lost for 2-1 score."

Elmy: "I'm sure, they will pay back at the next game."

Rio: "We'll see."
